What is a puppy social?
A puppy social at Canine Country is a supervised, hour-long "meet and greet" session for puppies and their owners! Our open yard allows puppies to have a wide area to interact with each other and people and experience different outside surfaces (real grass, leaves, mulch, etc.). We strive to create a positive environment so your puppy can have a positive experience meeting new friends and new people.
Why socialize your puppy?
As early as 3 weeks to 3 months is a puppy's sensitive period for socialization. By introducing your puppy to new sights, smells, and sounds you give him/her the best chance to develop into a more confident, happy, and safe dog. Without socialization, your puppy can develop fears of unfamiliar people, other dogs, or sounds.
More about our puppy social
Puppy social groups meet every Friday and Saturday morning from 9:30 to10:30.
Puppy social groups have a limit of 6 puppies to keep your pup from getting flooded with too much at once.
